10 Reasons Business People Love QlikView
And why we think you should check it out.

1. You don’t have to be a guru to be a power user, so there’s less reliance on IT to generate reports. A business person proficient with Excel or Access will quickly become competent whereas a good SQL programmer will quickly become a development guru.
2. BI gurus love it too, read this post
3. Analysts speak highly of it. Read IDC, Aberdeen and BARC.
4. 2,000,000 users…96% customer satisfaction rating*
5. Customers make movies about us, check it out
6. 44% deploy QlikView in 1 month or less…77% deploy inside of 3 months*
7. Nobody ever got fired for recommending QlikView (we’re the only BI vendor offering a risk-free, 30-day money-back guarantee)
8. We’re the only BI vendor delivering immediate value with payback measured in days or weeks (198 on average*, to be precise), rather than months, years – or not at all
9. TCO 53% lower than those other solutions… 34% increase in productivity*

Because of it's success in 2009 QlikView has moved from Visionary to Challenger in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for BI Platforms.
Among QlikView's strengths Gartner notes that it is a self contained BI platform that permits rapid application development, is particularly suitable for those users who want to reduce dependence on IT departments and ranks very high for ease of use and low cost of implementation. It has powerful performance capabilities on large data sets albeit fro smaller numbers of end users than the traditional vendors.
They point out that "A perfect storm" of factors has been key to QlikView's success. QlikView's innovative and disruptive combination of in-memory technology, built-in data integration and mashup capability, and intuitive end-user tools hit the market at a time when 64-bit computing enabled scalability of that model. At the same time, users were disillusioned with the need to go through IT for analysis and the economic environment favored smaller, low-cost deployments.
Gartner frequently sees companies deploy QlikView for use in rapid prototyping and requirements gathering, even alongside - and while they take a much longer time to deploy - their enterprise BI standard platform.
Enhancing its low-cost value proposition, since 2009, users have been able to download a free version of QlikView 9 for personal use, with extensive, free, Web-based training available. Also, QlikView can now be deployed in the cloud via Amazon EC2 to further speed time to value, scale capacity on the fly, and give users the benefit of lower upfront costs.

QlikTech, the world's fastest growing business intelligence company, have announced that Niscayah, a global security integrator, will be using QlikView as its enterprise-wide solution across 17 countries for fast and effective business analysis.
Niscayah, formerly known as Securitas, has been expanding rapidly in recent years. In connection with a global roll-out of the ERP-system, IFS Applications, the need arose in the company for rapid business analysis and reports from the ERP system. After reviewing competitive offerings, QlikTech's software, QlikView, was selected.
"With QlikView, we gain rapid access to business critical information and create the basis for operational and strategic decisions. It gives us better control of our business and we can continuously follow any day-to-day deviations," says Michael Langendorf, global BI & ERP manager at Niscayah.
In October 2009, Niscayah began working with QlikView in Finland, and the software has been very positively received. Niscayah's QlikView applications span several business areas, including Finance, Implementation, Service, Distribution, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Human Resource Management.
"QlikView was up and running really quickly, and this was a decisive factor in our selection. The application has rapidly become extremely popular with our employees since it's intuitive and easy to work with," continued Michael Langendorf. "During the coming three years, 450 employees in 17 countries will gain access to QlikView in connection with the roll-out of our global ERP-system."
Unlike traditional business analysis solutions, QlikTech creates direct value for clients.
"QlikTech is one step ahead of the competition, and in today's economic climate we see ever greater customer recognition of QlikView's immediate value with payback measured in days or weeks rather than months or years," says Mats Ferm, Nordic Manager of QlikTech. "This means that QlikView's customers benefit faster than from any other BI solution on the market, and is one of the reasons why 16 new customers choose QlikView every day."

Why are QlikView Customers the happiest BI customers?
Business Intelligence in general has a bad reputation for not fully delivering on his promise. Often the results achieved and the effort involved in deployment don't live up to the hype or expectation levels set.
According to a survey program, conducted by IDC with QlikView customers across the world, QlikView customers achieve significantly higher satisfaction with their BI systems than general BI users. When asked to rate their satisfaction on a scale of 1 to 5, 96% of QlikView users indicated the top three levels of satisfaction. This compares very favorably with results from IDC's 2008 survey (carried out in
conjunction with InfoWorld) where 70% of general BI users indicated the top three
levels of satisfaction with their BI implementations.
