Why Inbound Marketing will help us promote Business Intelligence

BI SearchI know from my years with ProStrategy that traditional or 'Outbound' marketing techniques just don't work anymore in the modern Internet world. Cold calling, invitations to seminars, roadshows and exhibitions are all very expensive and time consuming and are producing lower and lower results with every passing year. The reason - people don't buy things like that anymore.

The first thing that most people do when they want a new product or service is search the net with Google, and then they normally select something from the organic list that appears on the first page. 90% do not even go to the second page and 75% will not search on a sponsored link.
